Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 Enhancing Audio Features in Final Cut Pro X can help you minimize or eliminate any audio problems you may encounter. When audio is associated with video clips, the audio is viewable in the Timeline as waveforms. To make changes, click on an audio clip to select it.? Then, click on the button in the bar between the Viewer and the Timeline. It looks like a magic wand, and when you hover over the button Final Cut Pro X will tell you that this button allows you to choose color correction and audio enhancement options.? Click on this button and choose Show Audio Enhancements from the drop down menu that appears. Showing these enhancements will create a window to the right of the Viewer. In this window you can choose the Amount and Uniformity of the audio's Loudness, the Amount of Background Noise Removal you wish to add and the Frequency of any Hum Removal you choose to inhibit. Hum can occur when you have electronic devices near or attached to the video or audio device you use, and you can sometimes hear this depending on the devices you're using or the electricity you're around and using to power your devices. If you can hear a hum in your audio, use the Hum Removal feature to help get rid of it. You can also click on Auto Enhance at the bottom of this window to have Final Cut Pro X automatically determine which enhancement features are most needed for the program to fix any audio problems on its own.
