Playing Back Recorded Tracks - Pro Tools 9

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 The Transport Window allows you to control the Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind and Record functions in Pro Tools.? While a version of this window is in the top tool bar, to have access to a Transport Window that contains more features and functions to choose from, navigate to the top menu bar and click Window -- Transport. You can also press Command+1 on your keyboard. A nice feature of having this free-standing Transport Window is the ability to access its controls while working in the mix window. If you're experiencing problems with playback, such as an inability to hear the audio on a specific track, make sure the Mute button is not turned on. While this may seem obvious, it can prove to be a simple fix for an easy oversight. Also, you may need to switch to Auto Input Monitoring if you're experiencing playback problems. This will allow you to hear the audio being output from a track while the Track Record Enable button is turned on. To do so, navigate to the top menu bar and click Track -- Auto Input Monitoring.
