While it's a good idea to start out keeping your hands on your hips for balance, you can add arm movements that go along with the steps to add style. 1. Start off by stepping your right leg out to the right side. Shift your weight onto this leg.? 2. As you slide your weight to the right side, raise the toe of your left foot.? 3. Brush your left foot backwards and hit your toe on the ground. Finish with the left foot raised and back.? 4. Step down with the left heel, keeping the toe raised.? 5. Step to the right side again on your right leg. Repeat from the beginning. Reverse the direction by using the opposite feet.? Arms: You can incorporate arm movements into the step. First spread out your arms like an airplane. Angle an arm downwards in the direction you're going and an upwards arm behind you.
