Keywords can basically help you organize your clips to help increase your efficiency and workflow speed. All of the clips in your Browser can be marked as either a Favorite or a Reject, or they can have keywords added to them. To add a keyword, select it in the Browser, navigate to the top menu bar and click?Menu -- Show Keyword Editor. You can also press?Command+K?on your keyboard. This will bring up the?Keywords Editor?dialog box. You can easily add up to nine new keywords to this list or remove them with a single click of the mouse. To add a keyword, click on an empty field and begin typing. To add a keyword to a particular clip, click on the clip you want to select in the Browser and press the icon to the left of each keyword in the Keywords Editor dialog box.? It's the icon that has a number in it. Clicking on this icon will add that particular keyword to the clip you've selected. You can also assign a keyword to only relate to a particular part of a clip by adjusting the in and out points of the clip in the Browser window.
