Video Graphics - Final Cut Pro X

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Final Cut Pro X comes equipped with basic graphics called Video Generators that you can add to any project to create some neat graphics. To access these graphics, click on the button that looks like a film reel countdown and is located in the bar between the?Viewer?and the?Timeline. Clicking on this button will reveal the?Generators?window. In this window you have numerous background and matte options that you can place on to a video clip.? Some of them may prove to be frivolous or unnecessary for your needs, but others are practical, such as adding timecode.? To add a Generator, click and drag it to your Timeline and place it above your video clip by dropping it. Placing it above the video in the Timeline will ensure that the timecode shows up on your video in the Viewer. You also have the ability to adjust the various Blend Modes and Opacity of the graphic you choose under the Compositing section in the window to the right of the Viewer. Final Cut Pro X's built-in content browsers let you preview and search for photos, music and audio without leaving Final Cut Pro.? The program also offers over 1,300 royalty-free sound effects through a free software upgrade, as well as a range of graphic background and texture generators, to add polish to your projects.
