Duplicating Tracks - Pro Tools 9

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Duplicating a track is easy. It comes in handy if, for instance, you have a track with levels and settings adjusted to your preferences and you wish to make a new track with all of the same adjusted levels and settings.? Duplicating can be much easier and faster than creating a new track and adjusting the levels and settings manually. With the track you would like to duplicate highlighted, navigate to the top menu bar and click Track -- Duplicate. This brings up the Duplicate Tracks dialog box. Here, you can choose which data you wish to duplicate, such as Active Playlists, Alternate Playlists, Automation, Inserts, Sends and Group Assignments. If you uncheck Active Playlists, you won't have any audio waves created on the new, duplicated track. The duplicated track is created below the original source track.
