Color Code Regions - Pro Tools 9

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: In the edit window you have the ability to color code your regions to help sort and identify different audio sections. For instance, in a typical Pro Tools session all of your tracks are represented by different colors. By default, Pro Tools assigns all audio tracks a blue color in the column to the left of the edit window. This is to differentiate each track's type. To change the colors of your audio regions, first navigate to the top menu bar and click Setup -- Preferences. Make sure you're viewing the options under the Display tab. Under Default Region Color Coding, select Groups.? This will color code your audio regions according to the groups you've created. So, each group will be associated with a different color. Try experimenting with the various options available in the Display Preferences tab to see which color setting works best for you. Read more by visiting our page at:
