Creating New Tracks - Pro Tools 9

Bestselling Learn Guitar on Android! Let's say you're staring with a blank Pro Tools session and you want to begin recording. You'll first need to create a new track. To do so, navigate to the top menu bar and click Track -- New. You can also press Shift+Command+N on your keyboard. By default, Pro Tools chooses a Mono Audio Track in the dialog box that appears. You can change these options, as well as specify the number of new tracks you would like to create. If you click the + button on the right side, you'll be able to create a new track with different specifications.? If at any time you wish to add or delete tracks, simply click the + and - signs accordingly. For instance, if you create a click track, you'll want to set it as a separate Aux Input track.
