Simplify the equation further by finding the value of?2?. 2 to the fourth power just means 2x2x2x2, which equals 16.? 3. Now your new equation reads 16=b?.? 4. To find the value of "b," you'll need to take the square root of both sides to eliminate the exponent. Therefore, √16=b.? 5. Since the square root of 16 is 4, b=4.
