Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 You can edit the sends in the mix window of your Pro Tools session. The sends control what signal you're sending from each channel.? For example, you can send a channel out to an effects track such as a reverb unit. You can also send multiple tracks to one track. This will let you control all the tracks with one single fader. One use for this tool is when you have recorded all the parts of a drum kit on separate tracks but want to control them together.? The sends are located in each channel strip below the inserts. The sends section is labeled Sends F-J.? To add a new send, click on an empty spot in the sends section. This will open a menu. Select where you want to send the specific channel.? You can choose to send it to one of your effects tracks or to a different track. If you're sending it to an effects track, make sure it is the same as the track's input.? After you've selected a send, it will open a fader window for controlling the level of the effect. Raising the fader will add more of the effect, while lowering the fader decreases the effect.
