To start, place both of your hands on your hips. This will help you maintain your balance. Then, lift your right foot off the ground and?tap?once with your toe. 2. With your toe on the ground, kick your leg forward so that you scuff your heel on the ground. 3. Lift the heel of your standing (left) leg and quickly tap that heel on the ground. Those are the steps to make a three-count riff. 4. Now, to make a five-count riff, tap the heel of your forward foot down on the ground. 5. Finally, tap the toe of your forward foot down on the ground. This is a five-count riff. Try performing this same move, beginning with your left toe tapping and followed by your right heel tapping.
