Waacking is a style of dance that became popular in the early 1970s club scene and involves jerky motions of the shoulders and arms. Tyrone Proctor and Shabadoo are expert waackers in the dance world, and you should research both of them for additional inspiration in your waacking style. How to Waack 1. Start off by waacking your arms back. Bring your arms up, bending them at the elbows and thrusting your chest forward. When your arms are up by your neck, circle them again and bring them back to the original position. 2. Now try one arm at a time. For this you will waack your shoulder very hard, tossing it forward as hard as you can. As you do this, waack your arm back as shown in the video, bringing the arm up into a circle. Finish with both arms again in a large jerk. 3. When you're waacking, you want to be loose in your lower limbs as well. Your feet will step out and then step back in. When you're stepping, move on the ball of your foot and also swing your hips slightly. 4. After you've done the ending waack, you will jump with your feet spread out and lean on your left hips. Waack your arms back down and as they're falling dip down on your left hip with your knees bent outward. Let's Review! Waack your arms backward, while bringing your chest forward. Waack your shoulders and jerk your arms into a circle. Step in and out with your feet. Spread your feet apart in a small jump.
