Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 Controlling Isolation on a Track The Solo and Mute buttons control the level of isolation on a particular track.? Solo refers to being the only one active. It is represented as the S button in the channel strip. If you click on it to turn it on, it will be highlighted yellow.? When Solo is on, the session will only play that track and mute everything else. It will isolate that specific track so it's the only one you hear. Mute gives the opposite effect. Represented by the M button in the channel strip, turning this on highlights the button an orange color.? If you Mute a track, you won't be able to hear it. It completely turns off the audio signal in that track and remove its sound from the mix.
