Classifying Angles --------------------------------------------------------------------- There are several ways to classify an angle, typically done by its measurement (m).?The acute angle is a smaller angle, which is less than 90?. A right angle is equal to 90? and is usually represented by a square on the inner corner of the angle. The obtuse angle is greater than 90? but less than 180?.An angle whose measurement equals 180? is a straight line. An angle greater than 180? is a reflex angle.?Typically, a reflex angle the backside of a smaller angle.Adjacent angles share a vertex and a side, but no interior angles.?Vertical angles are formed by intersecting lines. They are congruent, or equal, to each other.Supplementary angles are two angles whose sum is equal to 180?. An angle that is 150? and an angle that is 30? are supplementary, because they add up to 180?.?Complimentary angles are angles whose sum equal 90?. A 30? angle and 60? angle are complimentary, because they equal 90?. Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/classifying-angles/
