Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 For starters, you need to know some keyboard shortcuts. The first shortcut is the Spacebar. Press this to begin playback from wherever your play marker is on your Timeline. Press the Page Up button to scroll one previous frame backward and Page Down to scroll one next frame forward. The Playback controls are also located in the Preview panel located on the right side of your After Effects project. They're the exact same controls you would find on an mp3 player or a CD player. Other controls are as follows: * First Frame (Home button) * Last Frame (End button) Another feature in the Preview panel is the RAM Preview button, which allows you to save your entire Composition into RAM so you can play back more of it. Pressing this button will cause the rendering to begin at the beginning of the Work Area bar, which is the gray bar located above the Timeline. The rendering will occur over the length of this Work Area bar. Clicking this RAM Preview button will enable the audio to be heard in your Composition. There is also a loop playback button in the Preview panel that allows you to change how your project plays back. You can choose play once, loop or ping pong.? You can also set the Frame Rate and Resolution of your project in the Preview panel.
