Slip Mode - Pro Tools 9

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Editing in Slip Mode Slip Mode is the opposite of Grid Mode. It gives you freedom from conforming to any grid or snapping mechanisms in Pro Tools. To get into Slip Mode, choose the option at the top left corner of the top tool bar. You can also choose Shuffle, Spot or Grid modes.? In Slip Mode, you can select a portion of the track that's between the snap grid lines, so you're not limited to selecting only along the grid lines. It gives you greater freedom when you're editing. You can also click and drag audio regions on the track freely and place them wherever you want. They won't snap to the grid lines in Slip Mode. Read more by visiting our page at:
