Track Controls - Pro Tools 9

Bestselling Learn Guitar on Android! Adjusting the Track Controls Track Controls dictate the name of a track, enable the ability to record and can isolate or solo a track, among other options. To begin, create a new track by navigating to the top menu bar and clicking Track -- New. You could also press Command+Shift+N on your keyboard. In the New Track dialog box you can choose to create an Audio Track, Aux Input, Master Fader, MIDI Track or Instrument Track in either Mono or Stereo. Press Create when you've specified those options. You can also create multiple tracks by specifying the number of new tracks you would like in the Create field. Once the track is created, you can rename it by double-clicking on the track name. You can also add comments, which a lot of audio engineers do to keep track of what kind of microphone was used to record. Sometimes these comments can be useful when going back to re-record.
