Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Editing in Shuffle Mode Shuffle Mode is a type of editing mode in Pro Tools that helps you edit more efficiently. It allows you to easily delete a bad section of a track that lies within two good sections without interrupting your work flow. You can get into Shuffle Mode by clicking on the appropriate button in the top left corner of the edit window. Also, make sure the Smart Tool is selected. Click and drag a portion of a track that you want to trim. Drag up to the note that you want the track to begin with. As soon as you let go of the mouse button, the note you dragged up to will now appear at the beginning. If there is an area of a track you want to delete, simply highlight that area by clicking and dragging with your mouse, then press Delete.?
