Record + Mix Template - Pro Tools 9

Learn guitar chords for FREE through our new game Chord Master: The Record + Mix Template will help you get started in Pro Tools. The template sets up a certain number of pre-loaded tracks that are already named for you. It also comes with a set number of plugins for you to work with. When you open Pro Tools you'll see the Quick Start dialog box. Choose Create Session from Template and select Record + Mix from the drop down menu. This template is geared more for audio engineers. It's going to give you many different tracks for multiple instruments, as well as lots of plugins that are good for mixing specifically. It comes with things like EQs, reverbs and such. Select 32+EQ+Dyn+FX Returns from the sub-option menu and press OK. This template comes pre-loaded with tracks specifically for EQs, dynamics, sound effects and returns. An interesting thing about this template is it does not name any of the tracks. Instead, it leaves you with the freedom to name them yourself.? The template really just comes pre-loaded with 32 tracks, including reverb, delay, chorus, headphones and a click track. You can easily rename a track by double-clicking on its title (Audio 1, Audio 2, etc.) and entering the track's new name in the dialog box. In the mixer window each track comes equipped with EQs, Sends (including reverb, delay, chorus and headphones) and I/Os. This saves a lot of time because you don't need to set up these Sends at all. *Note: Pro Tools 9 allows up to 32 tracks in a project. Pro Tools 9 HD allows unlimited tracks.
