This tutorial will show you how to bring up a template that incorporates the Eleven Rack. Open Pro Tools. If your settings are correct, you should see the Quick Start dialog box when Pro Tools starts. Choose Create Session from Template and select the Eleven Rack category.? Choose Full Session, Guitar Tracking or Guitar Trackin + Re-Amping within this category. Full Session is a good choice, along with .WAV Audio File Type, 48 kHz Sample Rate and 24-bit Depth.? Press OK when the settings are correct. The tracks and the plugins are going to be the main focus. At the top is the D.I. (Direct Input) track. This track will capture a direct, clean signal from your instrument (guitar, bass, etc.).? One nice feature is the Comments section that provides instructions regarding the use of each track. The outputs of the Eleven Rack Rig can be recorded on the specified Guitar track shown. Another track suggests recording a Re-Amped signal of your instrument. Re-amping is when you take your clean instrument signal and process it again for the purpose of achieving the exact sound you want out of your instrument.
