Using the Trash Folder --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Mail program allows you to permanently delete messages you want to remove. You can also choose to send them to the Trash folder without actually deleting them.?1. In the Mail program, select a message in the Inbox that you want to delete forever.?2. Right-click on the email and scroll to Delete. You can also select the email and press Delete on your keyboard.?3. Select a message that you just want to send to the Trash folder without deleting it.?4. Click and drag the email into the Trash folder.5. Click on the?Trash?folder to view the messages within it. It will contain messages that have been permanently deleted as well as the ones moved to the folder.?6.?To empty the?Trash?folder, right-click on it in the sidebar and scroll to?Erase Deleted Items.
