A-Rod in Illegal Poker Ring

Learn guitar chords for FREE through our new game Chord Master: New York Yankees' slugger Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez was a part of the illegal poker ring that has scandalized Hollywood. Poker player Adam Bilzerian is one of several sources that have confirmed to Star Magazine that 35-year-old Rodriguez was involved with the games — some of which had buy-ins as high as $40,000. Rodriguez's lawyer, Jay Reisinger, refused to comment on whether his client had ever played in, or attended, high stakes games. Star recently broke the story that A-list celebrities such as Tobey Maguire, Ben Affleck and Leonardo DiCaprio have also been playing in the illegal, top secret games, although Maguire is the only one currently being sued. This is not the first time A-Rod has been in trouble with cards. In 2005, Rodriguez received a warning from the Yankees to avoid illegal poker clubs as it could be "dangerous and harmful to his image."
