The Dock --------------------------------------------------------------------- The dock is a customizable object that allows you to easily access programs. It's normally found on the bottom of your screen. Using the Dock --------------------------------------------------------------------- To open a program from the dock, click on its icon in the doc.When you click and hold on an icon or right click on an icon, you'll get a menu. You can choose Open to open the program. You can also choose Options to have the option of removing the icon from the dock, making the program automatically open at login or showing the program in Finder.To move a program into the dock, click on its icon and drag it into a location in the dock. One place you'll be able to find program icons is in the Finder.To move a program in the dock to another doc location, click the icon and drag it to another location on the dock.To remove a program from the dock, click the icon and drag it out of the dock. It will disappear.Finder and Trash cannot be removed from the dock. Removing System Preferences from the dock is not recommended.
