Using a Mac - Searching --------------------------------------------------------------------- To find things on your computer that you cannot normally find, use the Search function. This can be particularly helpful to find things that are hidden away in folders that you might not have any idea about. To begin, open the Finder window. In the Finder, you'll see a Search bar in the top right corner. When you search for something, you can also change how you wish to view the results.? You can view your files as Icons. You can view your files as a List. You can view your files in Cover Flow Mode. Another way to search is to use the specific search dialogue box called Spotlight, which you can access by either pressing Command+F on your keyboard or by clicking the icon that looks like a magnifying glass in the top right corner of the menu bar.
