Opening New Tabs --------------------------------------------------------------------- When you're browsing the internet in Safari, you can use multiple tabs to keep your pages separate and organized. There are several ways to create new tabs.?1. To open a brand new tab in the same window, go to File -- New Tab.?2. To use a shortcut to open a new tab in the window, press Command+T.?3. If you want to view a link's content in a separate tab, right-click on the link and select Open Link in New Tab.?4. To open a link in a new tab using a shortcut, press and hold Command and click on the link.? Tabs Settings --------------------------------------------------------------------- You can control the settings of your tabs in Safari. To access the settings, go to Safari -- Preferences and select the Tabs section. You will see several options for customizing the tabs.? * You can select to open pages in tabs instead of windows Always, Automatically or Never.? * You can choose to enable or disable the Command+Click shortcut.? * You can determine if new tabs will automatically become active. * You can request or delete alerts for closing multiple tabs or windows at once.?
