Prince Gives "Glee" Thumbs Down

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: It turns out, Prince is not a Gleek. Popular "Glee" guest-star Gwyneth Paltrow covered his song "Kiss" on March 8, 2011, and now the world famous 53-year-old singer and musician is voicing his opinion. On Thursday June 23, Prince told The Guardian that "Glee" — the wildly popular FOX musical series — feels entitled to cover music. "There's no other art form where you can do that," he said. "You can't go and do your own version of Harry Potter. Do you want to hear somebody else sing Kiss?" According to Radar Online, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has been equally critical of artists who don't give them the rights to their music, going as far as calling one such band "self-centered a-holes. F--k you, Kings of Leon." Prince released his latest album, "20Ten" in the summer of 2010 and is currently on tour.
