Seven LA gang members have been arrested in connection with kidnapping, beating and robbing a man who allegedly blackmailed Shaq with a sex tape. Law Enforcement sources told TMZ that Ladell Rowels -- a member of the Main Street Mafia Crip Gang who is friends with Shaq -- spearheaded the assault on Robert Ross -- a former business partner of the NBA star who apparently had the tape. The altercation took place on February 11, 2008 on the Sunset Strip. ? Ross, who was allegedly cut out of a music business deal with Shaq, claimed Shaq brought women back to Ross' home and had sex with them while he was married to his wife, Shaunie. Ross told Shaq a "security camera" captured the action and it was all on tape. On the night of the 2008 Grammy Awards, Ross was kidnapped and brought to South Central LA where he was beaten and threatened to hand over the tape -- the existence of which remains unknown.? The gang members are currently in the middle of a preliminary hearing and being held in jail. When the case file went to the D.A. Shaq was not listed as a suspect. ?
