Photoshop Tutorial - Warp Tool and Chain Whip --------------------------------------------------------------------- This tutorial will show you the effectiveness of the Warp Tool to increase the size of the nail at the end of the character's chain whip. Begin by conducting a Google image search for a larger nail and mask it out. Move the isolated image to your canvas. Press Ctrl+T (Command+T for Mac) to Transform and resize the nail to make it either larger or smaller, depending on your individual needs. Press and hold Shift as you drag one of the corners to resize. You can also Rotate it to make it fit better with the image. Once you have it roughly in place, right-click on it and choose Warp. Use the grid to move the certain pieces of the nail to make it conform to the image. If you need to, change the color of the nail to make it better fit the rest of the image. Navigate to the top menu bar and click Image -- Adjustments. Change the Brightness/Contrast and Hue/Saturation as needed.
