Windows Live Family Safety - Account Setup --------------------------------------------------------------------- Setting up your account for Windows Live Family Safety is very easy to do. To begin, make sure you have the latest Windows Live Essentials pack downloaded by clicking here. To enable it, click on the Start Menu -- Control Panel -- User Accounts and Family Safety. Select Parental Controls. Navigate to the bottom of the page and Select a provider for additional controls. This is where you'll select Windows Live Family Safety. With that selected, scroll back up and click on the account you would like to add controls to. When doing this, be sure to have passwords on your administrator accounts to access your computer. You'll be taken to the Windows Sign In page where you'll log in with your Windows account. Once you're logged in, it means the account is set up. This page is where you can configure the account.? One thing you'll need to do is add the Windows Live ID of the account you just added. If there isn't an account you can create one. In order to add the Windows Live ID you'll need to click on Contact management. This will take you to the Manage contacts page where you'll click add your child's Windows Live ID.? From there you can either Create an ID or just Sign in with a current one. Once you do this, the account will be included on the Home screen. Read more by visiting our page at:
