How to Use Windows Live Messenger in a Browser --------------------------------------------------------------------- If you don't have Windows Live Messenger installed on your computer (or if you simply don't want to download it), you can easily use the browser version of the program. Open up your web browser program (could be Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and navigate to www.msn.com. Click on Messenger at the top of the page.? This takes you to the Windows Live Essentials page. Click Sign In at the top of this page. From there, sign in to your MSN account. You'll be taken back to the Windows Live Essentials page. Now, since you're signed in, click on Windows Live in the top left corner. This page will show you your social network stream. You can also check your email and see if you have any friends currently online by navigating to the top of the page (Hotmail, Messenger, Office, Photos).
