Windows Live Writer - Share on Facebook --------------------------------------------------------------------- You can easily share your blog on Facebook from inside Windows Live Writer. Open up your internet browser and go to this website: Click on the link "" to download the file to your computer. Choose Save File and click OK. Once saved, right-click on the file in the Downloads dialogue box and choose Open.? To install the plug-in, select all four (4) of the Application extensions, right-click on any one of them and choose Copy. Click on the directory button in the top left corner and select Computer. Select C: drive, then select Program Files (x86). Scroll to the bottom to find the Windows Live folder and select it. In that folder you'll select Writer.? Finally, open the Plugins folder and Paste the plugins you copied earlier in here. Make sure you're in the correct location by checking that you're in the Plugins folder on the C: hard drive by looking at the top bar that specifies. You can Paste by right-clicking in the dialogue box and selecting Paste. This will enable the plug-in inside Windows Live Writer. Click on Plug-in options in the top menu bar. A dialogue box will pop up where you'll see the plug-in facePLANT is Disabled. You'll want to change this to Enabled by selecting On under Plug-in details. Click OK when you're done. In order for the plug-in to take effect the program will need to restart. So, go ahead and click OK and restart Windows Live Writer. Once the program is back up and running, try publishing your blog post by navigating to the top menu bar, clicking Home and then Publish. A dialogue box called Update Facebook Status will appear asking you to post. Click Update and viola! You've just updated your Facebook status as you've posted your blog online. Anyone who clicks on the link in your Facebook post will be taken to your blog. Read more by visiting our page at:
