Windows Live Writer - Using Themes

Windows Live Writer - Using Themes --------------------------------------------------------------------- One thing to think about when you're creating your blog within Windows Live Writer is the type of Theme you're using. The Theme related to how your blog is actually shown in the Preview pane. You want to make sure you have the correct Theme updated in Windows Live Writer so you'll know what your blog will look like when you post it. In the lower left-hand corner you're given 3 different viewing options: Edit, Preview and Source. Source shows your blog written out as HTML code, Edit shows you what you're working with and Preview shows you how it will look once uploaded online. Click on Preview, then navigate to the top menu and click Update theme. This will let you make sure you are using the latest blog theme from Windows. Click Yes in the Download Blog Theme dialogue box. This allows Windows Live Writer to retrieve the theme and make sure your blog is updated. Once the update is completed, you'll be able to see a correct preview of what your blog will look like once uploaded. Read more by visiting our page at:
