Windows Live Writer - Adding Maps --------------------------------------------------------------------- You can easily add a Bing-powered map to your blog using Windows Live Writer. It can come in handy if, for instance, you wish to show a map detailing a road trip you took or covering what you did over the weekend. Once have you your blog open, place your cursor where you would like the map. Navigate to the top menu and click Insert followed by Map. This brings up the Bing Map dialogue box, where you can choose between a Road view or an Aerial view. Type in the location you wish to map (it can be an address, a city, a country or even a point of interest) and press Enter or click the button to the right of the Find Location field. When you have your location, right-click on the map to add a Pin. When you're finished, press Insert. Your map will be added at the location of your cursor in the blog. You also have the ability to add a caption to the bottom of the map. When you're ready to post your blog, navigate to the top menu, click Home and then Publish.
