Photoshop Tutorial - Lens Flare --------------------------------------------------------------------- Normally, if you want to add something like a Lens Flare to your image, you can't do so without affecting the image permanently. But, in this tutorial, you will learn how to do it without affecting the image.? Select the Smart Object of your subject and add a new blank layer by clicking the appropriate icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Rename it Lens Flare.? Make sure your Foreground color is Black.? Grab the Paint Bucket Tool and paint the entire canvas black with one click. Navigate to the top menu bar and click Filter -- Render -- Lens Flare. This brings up the Lens Flare dialogue box, where you can adjust the Brightness and Lens Type of the flare. Change the Mode in the Layers panel to Screen.? Grab the Lens Flare on the canvas and move it until it rests over the person's eye. To adjust the size of the flare, press Ctrl+T (Command+T for Mac) to Transform it. Make it small enough to fit within the pupil of the eye without overpowering the image. Press OK when you're satisfied with its size and placement. Read more by visiting our page at:
