Windows Live Movie Maker - Adding Effects

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: In this video, Mahalo Windows expert Sean Hewitt shows you how to add effects using Windows Movie Maker. Step 1: Setting Up Effects --------------------------------------------------------------------- If there is a certain length of footage you would like to add an effect to, split the clip into the piece you want to have the effect and the piece you don't. To do this, place your cursor (the thick, black, vertical line) at the point you want to split it and press the M key on your keyboard. Now click on the frame where you want the effect to occur. Step 2: Add Effects --------------------------------------------------------------------- Open the Visual Effects tab on the top toolbar (next to the Home and Animations tab). Choose the effect you want and select it by clicking on it. For some effects, like Hue Cycle, you can adjust the brightness on the right hand side of the visual effects tab. This effect in particular can make a photo of a sunset look like a time-lapse video of a sunset. Read more by visiting our page at:
