Bestselling Learn Guitar on Android! http://bit.ly/LearnGuitarAndroid In this video, Mahalo's Photoshop expert Justin Zagri demonstrates how to create a mask with the Pen Tool. Photoshop Tutorial - Masking With the Pen Tool --------------------------------------------------------------------- Besides using Shape Tool to create masks and either add or remove areas of an image, you can also use the Pen Tool to cover more difficult areas.? Select the Pen Tool from the left side tool bar or press P on your keyboard. Start at one end of the irregular shape you wish to remove and begin plotting points around the object. You'll notice as you go that when you reach the end of your object and turn around, the mask will begin collapsing on itself and appear to mask the object you're trying to keep. Don't worry about this. Simply continue the mask until you reach the end and loop it back around to your starting point by clicking around the object. If you need to tweak your mask at all, it's easy to do because all of the points you've created are moveable. Press A and click on the selection to move the points around and make your mask more precise. Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/photoshop-tutorial-masking-with-the-pen-tool/
