Photoshop Tutorial - Fix Background with Lasso Tool

Bestselling Learn Guitar on Android! http://bit.ly/LearnGuitarAndroid In this video, Mahalo's Photoshop expert Justin Zagri demonstrates how to fix a background image with the Lasso Tool. Fix Background with Lasso Tool --------------------------------------------------------------------- In the original picture, the haze from the sky created a slight blue hue over the mountains, which commonly occurs with landscapes in the far background. To fix this, you're going to use the Lasso Tools. Make sure the layer you're working on is selected in the Layers panel. Select the Polygonal Lasso Tool from the left side tool bar. Press and hold Z to zoom in on the area you wish to select. As soon as you let go, you'll be able to use the tool you originally selected. Begin at a point on the edge of the object you wish to select and move the Lasso tool around the object by clicking at each turning point. Work all the way around the object and close the mask by clicking the small circle next to the Lasso tool. With your object selected, navigate to the top menu bar and click Image -- Adjustments -- Color Balance. Adjust the sliders accordingly to try and match the color balance of the object you've selected with the rest of the image. You may also wish to adjust the Brightness and Contrast as needed. Navigate to the top menu bar and click Image -- Adjustments -- Brightness/Contrast to do so. Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/fix-background-with-lasso-tool/
