How to Make a Bacon, Cheddar and Mushroom Frittata

What You'll Need --------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 medium eggs* 2 heaping tbsp cheddar cheese * 2 tbsp mushrooms, chopped * Parsley garnish (or any other herb(s) to your liking) * 1 tbsp bacon, chopped * 1/4 cup half & half * Salt and pepper to taste * 1/2 tbsp butter * 1 tbsp olive oil * Nonstick frying pan * Large bowl * Spatula * Whisk Preparation --------------------------------------------------------------------- Preheat broiler on low heat.2. Set burner to medium. Heat nonstick frying pan. 3. Add olive oil to frying pan. Spread it around so that it covers the entire surface of the pan. 4. Add butter to pan and let melt. 5. Gently run the?butter around the entire bottom of the frying pan. This will ensure that nothing will stick as it cooks. 6. Pour eggs and half-and-half into large bowl and whisk. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste (optional). Add parsley (optional). Add cheese and whisk. Cooking Process --------------------------------------------------------------------- Add bacon and mushrooms to the frying pan and let cook.2. Wait until bacon is golden brown, then add egg mix. 3. Use your spatula to mix everything together well. You want to make sure the eggs cover all of the other ingredients. 4. Once the bottom of the eggs are cooked, place the frying pan in the broiler. Let cook for 5-7 minutes until egg is golden brown. Remove pan when done.5.
