CMYK?Image Mode --------------------------------------------------------------------- CMYK stand for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. These are the four colors a printing press uses to achieve most every color in the spectrum. This mode is most often used when preparing an image for print. Both home inkjet printers and huge professional production printers use this color model in order to create images on paper. The CMYK color model looks similar to the RGB color wheel, except CMYK is a subtractive system, while RGB is an additive system.
