Summary: This is the famous massive close support raid by 98 B-29s dropping 850 tons of bombs on the North Korean front lines on Aug. 16, 1950 in an attempt to stop their heavy attack on our troops. (Shot list to follow.) Aerial shots, B-29s in formaiton and dropping bombs -- beautiful clouds in bg; Pan shot following dropping bombs outlined by clouds; single B-29 dropping bombs; bombs strike the target; Korean terrain; single B-29 with large "W" on tail; view through bomb bays of target -- smoke rising; flashes of exploding bombs; B-29s flying low over ground.
