Summary: Part 1 shows British reoccupation of the Channel Islands. Brit. warships steam into a Guernsey port. German troops march from a castle and lay down their arms. King George and Queen Elizabeth enplane in England and later deplane on Guernsey. Part 2, a tank is assembled and tested. The tank carries a bridge which is placed across a stream, crossed, and then loaded aboard the tank. Australian troops land at Tarakan on Borneo under an aerial and naval bombardment. Shows Gen. Blamey. Part 3, Gen. Eisenhower rides in a carriage through London streets, chats with Air Marshal Tedder, and speaks to a large crowd.
