Here on a riverbank in southern Kenya, the regal tree is a hunting ground, home, and food source for a greater variety of animals than any other tree in Africa. But without the tiny fig wasp, none of this would be possible. NATURE's "The Queen of Trees" airs on PBS Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 8 p.m. (check local listings), part of the 27th season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen/WNET New York for PBS. Major support provided by Canon U.S.A. Inc., Toyota, SC Johnson, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
