Working in financial law has been stressful, challenging and has made it hard for her to take time for herself. A successful career can be very rewarding, but the toll that working too much takes on our bodies can be severe. Disease or even a mid-life crisis can result from too much stress. Taking a vacation or sabatical can make a huge difference so you don't get burned out. Stillness is like a mini vacation, giving you great relief and supporting your health. Depression, anxiety and stress are common in our lives and can be difficult to deal with. Using stillness and intention, Suzanne learned how to calm her anxiety, anger, fatigue and sadness, and now she shares this work with others. If we want to be happy with ourselves, to love ourselves and truly appreciate the beauty of life, it's important to relax, place intention on our physical bodies, clear the mind, quiet our thoughts and be here now. Happiness does not come from material possessions or from another person, it comes from within.
