Giant representations of monkeys, spiders and other wildlife, which can only be seen from above, were etched in the earth by residents of the Andes roughly 1500 years ago. One of the many secrets of the world's longest mountain chain revealed in the NATURE premiere of "Andes: The Dragon's Back," airing on PBS Sunday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. (check local listings). Academy Award-winning actor F. Murray Abraham narrates the program, part of the 25th anniversary season of NATURE, the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series produced by Thirteen/WNET New York for PBS.
