Shinya Inoue (Marine Biological Laboratory): Dynamic Mitotic Spindle

In this lecture, Dr. Inoue recalls how, in 1947, he built a polarizing light microscope that allowed him to visualize, for the first time, the dynamic mitotic spindle in live cells.
