Poet Kimiko Hahn appears at the 2011 National Book Festival. Speaker Biography: Publishers Weekly gave a starred review to Kimiko Hahn's latest book of poems, "Toxic Flora" (Norton), noting that "these sharp, gut-punching lyrics quote from and/or borrow the diction of science writing in order to investigate more personal issues ... in what may be Hahn's best book to date." Hahn has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation and the New York Foundation for the Arts, and she is a distinguished professor at Queens College of the City University of New York.
