This position starts on the G above middle C and extends to the A two octaves above middle C. There is an immediate stretch on the second note of the melody from your 1st finger on the G to your 3rd finger on the C. The same stretch occurs on the last note as well.? Remember to shift your five-finger position halfway through the melody (while ascending) on the C note, changing your 3rd finger to your 1st, then shift back down (while descending) on the E note, with your 5th finger.
