Bartlett Plaza was transformed into a cascade of countries for the 25th annual International Day. With more than 30 countries represented, the event featured cultural performances, handcrafts, food and national costumes, as well as free henna tattoos. The day began with a flag procession for each country, accompanied by its national anthem. AUC community members were then encouraged to explore the various booths on the plaza, where students and embassy representatives displayed material about what makes each country unique and offered a variety of national dishes. Attendees also used mock passports to receive stamps from each country and win prizes. While some booths offered educational material, others organized games for the attendees. Many international students used the event to share with the community what makes their home countries unique.
