Organize an Office in 3 Steps
Paige to the Camera: Ariste has an interesting situation in that she has recently rejoined the workforce. She has a home office space, but that space currently is being used for a lot of different things, and things that she doesn't even need it to be used for anymore. Tracy Metro is going to work with Ariste to simplify, organize and de-clutter that space. Tracy: I like to think that there are three ways to, not only give yourself the best life, but the best space in which to work to flourish. And the first one I think is a comfortable office, and I think it starts with a chair. Cause you are sitting in the chair for so long and you know your back, your tush, your legs -- everything can get really tired from that. And how many piles does this girl have? Mimi: A lot of piles. Tracy: Exactly. Organization really will make you work more efficiently. But really, here is the inside scoop: What's going to make sense in this drawer, what's going to make sense in that drawer, if you don't use your scissors all day every day, maybe those can be in the drawer. Do you know what I mean? Tracy to the Camera: I just feel like she's kind of been stifled by so much stuff around her that as soon as we can de-clutter her she's going to be able to blossom like the flower that she is. The thing that really makes an office just a special place to be all day is when it has your personal touches. Ariste: OK Tracy: So these are the things we are doing together to create the best office life. We are just getting ready for you to soar! Ariste: (Laughing) I love it.
