How Hygiene Keeps Deer Hooves Away

Deer are beautiful, but they can be a nuisance if you're trying to grow a vegetable garden or a flowerbed. Here are a couple ways to keep our backyard friends at bay. You may not realize it, but the simple scent of human beings will scare deer away. You can go to your barbershop to get your haircut and take the hair clippings from after your hair cut and spread them around your garden. If that doesn't work, you can try this simple measure. Take a bar of soap, drill several holes into it to bring out the scent, and then attach a string. Put it somewhere on the perimeter of your garden and the deer will stay away.
